An Arrive-and-Drive Karting Program at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut
Housatonic Racing Development is partnered with Lime Rock Park as the exclusive provider to bring Spec Karting to LRP. Spec Karting provides a fast, fun and fair environment that puts an emphasis on driver development which is exactly what HRD is all about.
Check out our karting events at Lime Rock Park, where you’ll drive Centurion CRG gas-powered go-karts on the newly paved and improved FCP Euro Proving Grounds Course.
Rental Karts are available for drivers that are 13 years old and up (Min 58" tall)
Karting helmets, protective neck rolls and head socks are mandatory and are included in each session.

Timing and Scoring

Frequently Asked Questions
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO DO A KART THE PARK SESSION?
$45 per driver for an 8-10 minute session. Price includes helmet rental with balaclava and neckroll. No surprise charges!
ARE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED?
We highly recommend booking in advance. Seats are limited and not guaranteed for walk-ins. Simply click any of the dates above to bring you to the registration page for your registration details and online payment.
HOW FAST DO THE KARTS GO?
The go-karts will do between 45 and 50 mph on our course depending on driver acceleration and confidence.
HOW OLD YOU NEED TO BE TO KART THE PARK?
Drivers must be 13 years old and meet the minimum height requirement of 58" (4 feet, 10 inches tall)
CAN I USE MY OWN HELMET?
Yes, you may use your own full-face helmet, or motocross helmet with goggles.
DO YOU HOST PRIVATE KARTING EVENTS? LIKE A BIRTHDAY OR A GROUP/CORPORATE EVENT?

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I BRING FOR A GROUP / CORPORATE EVENT?
Bring as many guests as you'd like! Kart the Park currently has 12 Go-Karts. Each session can utilize all 12 karts at a time and guests can take turns in the sessions throughout your event.
DO YOU OFFER JUNIOR SESSIONS?
Kart the Park no longer offers junior sessions as of 2026. We look forward to welcoming juniors as soon as they turn 13! (As long as they also meet the minimum height requirement)
